Primary School Construction
Facility for 350 Children in Kyankwanzi
Total Cost: US $55,000
- Quality education facility to provide holistic scholastic development, critical thinking, and teaching of values such as integrity, sustainability, and compassion.
- Small classrooms, dedicated teachers, sanitation facilities, and provide nutritious meals to children.
Problem
Schools are overcrowded and children travel for long distances to go to school. Our students are bright and determined but assessments show they are lacking reading, writing, computer literacy, and critical thinking skills. Further, during the global epidemic, donations to sponsor children dropped drastically.
Solution
Zee Foundation seeks to provide a holistic and transformative model of education that will build their skills and nurture their creativity. It will be a safe haven to play and learn with access to clean water and healthy meals. This will spur their potential to make a tremendous impact on their communities in the future. The school will also become a community center of excellence where community meetings will be conducted.

Bore Hole for Clean Drinking Water
Provide water to 350 children and 2,000 villagers in Kyankwanzi
Total Cost: US $45,000
- Zee Foundation seeks to drills a bore hole and install a submersible water pump, water tower, digital kiosk, and water bottling plant.
- Will also enhance sustainability of our child support activities.
Problem
Children trek more than three miles to the River Kizingu in pursuit of clean water. But the River is seasonal and children and community members often contract water-borne diseases such as typhoid, dysentery, and cholera. Drilling a borehole will provide clean water for domestic use for the community.
Solution
The bore hole will eradicate water-borne diseases and help save time, money and other resources. The pump, digital kiosk and water bottling plant will help generate income to maintain the borehole, and create a sustainable way of supporting the children. The project will benefit all the stakeholders in the community, supporting poultry, gardens, and other collaborative initiatives.

Expectant mothers, for example, must walk such long distances to access to access child birth, pre-natal and post-natal care services.
